This is an illustration of Levi and Mikasa, my two favorites from the anime series, "ATTACK ON TITAN."  I haven't read the original manga but I've heard nothing but good things about it.

*SPOILER ALER* I used music from the anime OST for the video:  1) Mikasa's when she was recklessly attacking Titans after Erin was eaten, and 2) Levi's when he went one-on-one with the Female Titan in the forest.

For those of you who don't know anything about Attack on Titan:

1) What is wrong with you?
2) Here's a brief intro: Several hundred years ago, humans were nearly exterminated by Titans.  In this anime, Titans are giants that seem to have no intelligence, no sex organs, devour humans, and—worst of all—seem to do it out of pleasure rather than hunger.  No one knows where the Titans came from or why they're roaming the lands.  A small percentage of humanity survived by walling themselves in a city protected by extremely high walls, taller than the biggest Titan known to man at that period.
   Now, in the present, no one has seen a Titan in over 100 years.  Without warning,  the city walls are suddenly destroyed by a Colossal Titan, a monster more massive than any giant humans have ever encountered in their history.  Smaller Titans begin to flood into city walls and began to mercilessly devour anyone within reach.  Humanity is once again on the brink of extinction...Its only hope are the brave heroes of the Survey Corps, Garrison, and Military Police Brigade which the anime center on.  

NOTES

- This was supposed to be a larger piece but because it didn't feel right to me as it neared completion, I ended up cropping it.  You can see how I started out larger in the speed art video.
